Appoints Orca Tech as first Distributor in Australia
Bitglass has announced the launch of its Altitude Partner Program and a number of new local partnerships as it builds sales and channel momentum across Australia and New Zealand.
Nine Australian partners across Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane have joined the Program since launch, while Orca Tech has been appointed as the company’s first national distributor.
Brendon Thwaites, Director of Channels APJ, said: “Our strategy is to choose the best-fit partners in the region to keep margins and addressable market opportunity high across the board. We are seeking out disruptive and innovative partners with a proven track record of helping customers address visibility blind spots and data security risks brought about by the use of cloud and modern ways of working.”
“I’ve been delighted with the response we’ve seen from partners in such a short timeframe. The mutual trust that we are building in the channel through our channel-focused sales model is very encouraging and it gives me confidence that the investments we’re making in the channel are the right ones.”
Bitglass created the Altitude Partner Program to ensure that there is a consistent, transparent, and predictable framework for engaging with partners. The program also includes an active partner lead distribution process and an MDF program for long term channel pipeline development.
Dave Shephard, Vice President APAC, Bitglass, said, “Our mission is to help organisations safely and confidently adopt cloud and mobile working. Partners are telling us that improving cloud security is a common conversation they’re engaging in. We see the channel as our engine for growth and scale and we are committed to working collaboratively with our partners on all opportunities. We will continue to focus on demonstrating the flexibility and value of our cloud security platform, while we train our partners to provide exceptional levels of customer service and support around Bitglass.”
As a distributor for Bitglass Orca Technology will help to facilitate an increase in local channel momentum, marketing programs and incentives, regional scale, and overall operational efficiency.
Craig Ashwood, General Manager of Orca Tech, said, “We are excited to be representing Bitglass as their national Value-Added Distributor working to enable, support and grow the channel’s awareness of the technology. Orca Tech will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the Altitude Partner Program and the feedback from partners across the region has been very positive to date. Partners are rapidly seeing the value in the technology and the opportunity it presents by addressing gaps in the market, whether it be interoperability or non-intrusive deployments.”
Gavin Coulthard, Security Practice Manager, Thomas Duryea Logicalis, also said: “Partnering with Bitglass was an easy choice. Their core values of delivering effective security outcomes in a changing landscape aligns closely with the TDL security practice. TDL prides itself in delivering best-of-breed products to ensure a strong security posture for our customers as they move to hybrid-cloud architectures.
