One Identity has announced the appointment of Serkan Cetin as the new Regional Manager for the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) region. Cetin, who will be based in Sydney, assumes the role after serving as an IAM Sales Engineer for One Identity over the past six years.

Cetin commenced the role in August with a mandate to develop a strong customer network and add further support to APJ operations. In addition, he will be focused on accelerating product, software and service innovation and building upon the organisation’s already strong reputation in the APJ market.

“One Identity has made significant strides in responding to the demand for identity and access management solutions globally as well as across the APJ region. I am excited to be moving into this role as we build on that momentum and galvanise our position as a leading provider in IAM,” said Cetin.

“Having been with One Identity for over six years in a technical role prior to moving into a leadership role I feel that I really have an excellent understanding of what One Identity offers as well as a firm commitment to the people involved, to deliver security solutions that fit their specific organisational needs on a day-to-day basis.”

Serkan Cetin brings over 10 years of experience to the position. Prior to his time with One Identity, he was an Identity and Security Management Consultant for Directory Concepts. At One Identity, Cetin spent six years as a Senior Sales Engineer and Solutions Architect. In this role, Cetin demonstrated and presented to customers the IAM offerings of One Identity. He was also a solution architect and designed customised IAM solutions for customers.
