AI analytics company Alteryx has appointed Marie Holmes as country manager for Australia and New Zealand. Holmes will lead business activities and partnerships to drive Alteryx’s next phase of growth in the region. She will play an important role in defining and executing the go-to-market strategy to help shape the future of data analytics for Alteryx’s customers in Australia and New Zealand.
With over 25 years of experience building technology businesses and leading high-performing teams at global technology companies and high-tech scale-ups, Holmes brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Alteryx. Most recently, she was with VMware (now Broadcom), where she led the go-to-market function as senior director for the VMware Tanzu business in Australia and New Zealand, driving revenue growth. Holmes has also held prior regional senior leadership roles at Amdocs and Logica Plc and has extensive experience in country leadership roles.
“Marie’s impressive experience in the enterprise software industry, coupled with her strong leadership skills, will be instrumental in accelerating Alteryx’s next phase of growth in the ANZ region,” said Alteryx’s Jason Janicke.
“In an era where data-driven organisations are 23 times more likely to acquire customers, the ability to harness data effectively is no longer a competitive advantage, it’s a necessity,” said Holmes. “The Australia and New Zealand region is at the forefront of adopting artificial intelligence and analytics, with businesses projected to increase investment in data initiatives by over USD3.5 billion in 2025. I look forward to collaborating with our customers and partners to unlock value in their data.”
