Wild Tech has appointed Dan Whittle as general manager of managed services, marking a major milestone in the company’s strategic trajectory.
Whittle joins Wild Tech from Alceon-owned Cheap as Chips, where he spearheaded its transformation from legacy systems to a modern, technology-led retailer. He led initiatives, including cloud ERP implementation, online business launches, automated payroll, and the rollout of live data infrastructure across 53 stores.
Whittle’s hands-on experience in driving scalable, AI-ready infrastructure and digital transformation in the retail sector equips him to lead Wild Tech’s managed services division with a unique, real-world perspective.
“With Dan’s leadership, we’re strengthening our focus on delivering solutions that empower businesses to navigate an increasingly complex technology landscape,” said Wild Tech CEO Grant Wild. “This division expansion reflects our vision to prepare organisations for the future of AI, cloud, and advanced digital capabilities.”
The enlarged managed services portfolio includes scalable, AI-ready infrastructure, advanced IT support, cyber risk management, and modern workplace solutions. These services leverage Microsoft technologies such as Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Sentinel, and Microsoft 365 with Copilot, ensuring businesses can integrate AI tools, optimise operations, and safeguard critical assets through advanced cybersecurity.
This strategic expansion is part of Wild Tech’s commitment to empowering businesses to thrive in a technology-driven future.
