V2 AI has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Ian Nguyen as Partner, as the company accelerates secure AI adoption across Australian enterprises.
The appointment reinforces V2 AI’s position as a leading APAC data and AI consultancy, expanding its capability to support organisations undertaking large-scale, AI-enabled transformation. Nguyen brings more than 15 years of experience delivering major cyber security uplift and technology modernisation programs across financial services, energy and utilities, and state and federal government.
Across his career, Nguyen has led security and technology transformations for some of Australia’s most complex and highly regulated environments. He served as Head of Critical Infrastructure Security Portfolio at Transgrid, where he established and led the organisation’s critical information security uplift. He was previously a Director at Deloitte, specialising in cyber transformation delivery for the financial services and energy sectors. Nguyen has also held senior cyber and technology roles at Westpac and spent more than six years at PwC working across program management, IT audit, business resilience and program assurance for government and critical industry clients.
Nguyen’s expertise spans cyber strategy, critical infrastructure uplift, enterprise risk reduction and delivery of multi-million-dollar modernisation programs aligned to regulatory, board and customer expectations. His appointment comes at a time when secure AI adoption remains a top priority for organisations navigating rapid advances in generative and enterprise AI.

Based in Sydney, Nguyen is recognised for his stakeholder leadership and ability to establish governance, delivery frameworks and high-performing teams that drive measurable enterprise outcomes. He holds a Bachelor of Business Informatics and multiple professional accreditations.
