CrowdStrike has been named Google Cloud’s 2026 Security Partner of the Year for Infrastructure Protection for the second consecutive year, according to a media alert issued during Google Cloud Next 2026.

The company also said it is a launch partner for the Google Agent Cloud Ecosystem, positioning its Falcon platform for use in “modern cloud and AI environments”.

CrowdStrike said the recognition builds on its collaboration with Google Cloud, including being named in November as one of three inaugural partners in the Google Unified Security Recommended program. The media alert said CrowdStrike was the only endpoint security platform selected for that program.

Alongside the partner award, CrowdStrike announced it is expanding its Cloud Detection and Response (CDR) capabilities to Google Cloud, aimed at real-time detection and prevention of attacks across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

CrowdStrike also pointed to findings from a commissioned Forrester Total Economic Impact study, which it said found a composite organisation representing interviewed customers deploying CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security achieved a 264% return on investment over three years, with a payback period of under six months.

The announcements come as security vendors and cloud providers increase emphasis on tooling and controls for AI workloads and agentic AI systems moving from pilot phases into production environments.
