Cohesity has named Datacom as its Asia Pacific and Japan managed service provider (MSP) Partner of the Year as part of the vendor’s FY2026 Partner Awards.
In a statement circulated on October 21, 2026, Cohesity said the awards recognise partners across its ecosystem, including alliances, distributors, resellers, global system integrators and MSPs. The company said the program spans both global and regional categories and reflects the role partners play as organisations broaden their focus from data protection to cyber resilience, security and AI initiatives.
Datacom’s ANZ director of operations, Sam Ereckson, said the recognition reflected the partnership with Cohesity and a shared focus on cyber resilience outcomes for customers across Australia and New Zealand.
Matthew Johnston, senior director of partner sales for Asia Pacific and Japan at Cohesity, said partners in the region had invested early in cyber resilience expertise as customer demand increased.
Alongside the APJ MSP Partner of the Year award to Datacom Systems Ltd, Cohesity also named Micrologic as Americas MSP Partner of the Year, Vivicta as EMEA MSP Partner of the Year, and Axtel as LATAM MSP Partner of the Year. In APJ regional awards, Cohesity listed EDGE SHIELDS as APJ Partner of the Year, Amigo Technologies Joint Stock Company as APJ Growth Partner of the Year, ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation as APJ Net-New Logo Partner of the Year, and ETEVERS CO., LTD. as APJ Distribution Partner of the Year.
The company said its fiscal year 2026 ran from August 1, 2025, to July 31, 2026.
