SecureFirst Partners with SonicWall University achievements post 21 percent average increase in revenue attainment, productivity
SonicWall is driving record numbers during the inaugural year of its SecureFirst Partner Program. The program, which launched in November 2016, has grown 500 percent since May 2017 with more than 21,000 registered partners, 7,700 of which are new to SonicWall.
“The numbers speak for themselves. With the diligence of our committed channel community, SonicWall is building one of the most modern, engaging and rewarding partner programs in the industry,” said SonicWall President and CEO Bill Conner. “This collaboration results in better and more real-time partner expertise in the field, stronger security outcomes for customers and more revenue for our partners.”
Once enrolled in the SecureFirst Partner Program, partners may leverage SonicWall University to accelerate on-boarding and quickly capitalise on customer opportunities and help increase revenue. Launched in April 2017, SonicWall University offers free on-demand online training with pathways for partners to earn SecureFirst Sales and Technical Accreditations, which directly influence increased revenue attainment.
“During pre- and post-deployment engagements, our workforce is often looked to for cybersecurity guidance and expertise,” said Michael Crean, CEO of Solutions Granted. “With an increasingly widening cybersecurity skills gap in the industry, programs like SonicWall University help us know that we’re serving the best interests of our end customers. Our staff are better armed with the right information at the right time — and that gives customers true peace of mind that they’re making a sound investment.”
While partners that haven’t leveraged SonicWall University have increased their revenue by an average of 7 percent, more importantly, partners that have their staff go through the SonicWall University achievements are delivering a 21 percent quarter-over-quarter increase in revenue attainment.
“Cyber security is a vital part of business today. Organisations that don’t take the appropriate steps to ensure they are protected run the risk of a cyberattack which could ruin their business.” said Zaun Bhana, Managing Director at Leap Consulting in Western Australia. “The courses offered by SonicWall University allow us to educate our team, keeping them well informed of new threats. Through that knowledge it allows us to not only grow the trust of our customers, but enable our team to work more efficiently and confidently on closing out new opportunities. SecureFirst and SonicWall University make up the foundation of how we enable our team to educate, protect, and impress our customers day after day.”
SonicWall University is a sophisticated online partner enablement platform designed to keep SecureFirst Partner sales representatives, pre-sales engineers and support engineers at the forefront of today’s cybersecurity threats and solutions. The online program has already achieved several key milestones:
- Includes more than 287 technical- and sales-based courses
- More than 100,000 SonicWall University exams successfully completed by partners
- More than 55,000 hours of SonicWall University classes completed by partners
- Acceleration of more than $450 million in deal registrations
“Anytime we are able to support our partners around Australia and New Zealand that really buy into the mission of security is a great day for our partners, their customers, and of course us,” said SonicWall Vice President and GM of Asia, Pacific, and Japan, Wias Issa. “Working with a smart and approachable channel ensures that customers across the network have a great experience from start to finish as they embark on protecting their businesses from the relentless onslaught of cyber-attacks. ”
SonicWall University offers extensive training curriculum and certification paths for security experts seeking to enhance their knowledge and maximise their investment in SonicWall products and security applications. SonicWall Certified Engineers are immediately identifiable as experts in their field, offering a key advantage to SonicWall SecureFirst Partners and customer network administrators or security specialists.
“SonicWall University has transformed my approach when presenting SonicWall solution benefits to customers and prospects. I am armed with knowledge,” said Amoeba Networks CEO David Smithson.
To promote growth within the SecureFirst program, SonicWall launched the Partner Enabled Services program in November 2017. The program includes a new lineup of professional security services designed for partners to help their customers implement and operate security solutions that protect them from today’s relentless cyber attacks.
