Ocean Software appoints Mark Palmer as CTO

Ocean Software has announced the appointment of Mark Palmer as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to build and manage the execution of the company’s strategic technology plan.

Mark has extensive experience in the defence and aviation industry both in Australia and internationally across all key regions. His focus is on digital transformation, unmanned aerial system (UAS), air traffic management, big data, and artificial intelligence. He is an aviation expert with more than 24 years’ experience in the aviation industry in technology roles. Notably, Mark began his career with BAE Systems Australia before moving to Thales in 2001, where he remained until he joined Ocean Software in July 2018.
