Following Cisco’s acquisition of Isovalent earlier this month, a provider of eBPF for enterprises, Cisco has announced it has made Cisco Hypershield available for enterprise IT teams.
Hypershield is built on open source eBPF, a default mechanism for connecting and protecting cloud-native workloads in hyperscale cloud environments.
Hypershield spans all clouds and leverages hardware acceleration like Data Processing Units (DPU) analyse and respond to anomalies in application and network behaviour.
