HubSpot has launched its first Australian data centre, demonstrating its long-term commitment to investing in the region. The new infrastructure, located in Sydney, will enable local businesses to host their data onshore in Australia and aims to provide HubSpot customers with better regional product performance, greater reliability, and improved compliance capabilities.
By hosting data locally, HubSpot’s network of customers in the region can utilise the full extent of its unified customer platform while being better equipped to meet onshore data requirements.
“Australian businesses of all sizes need uncompromising performance, and we’re investing to deliver exactly that,” said HubSpot’s Dan Bognar. “As AI and customer expectations reshape the competitive landscape, organisations need a customer platform they can trust. Our local infrastructure demonstrates our long-term commitment to helping businesses across the region grow better.”
Australia’s digital economy is accelerating and is projected to reach AUD315 billion by 2030. This trajectory presents an increasing need for stronger foundational infrastructure to support the digital transformation needs of Australian businesses. HubSpot says by bringing its services closer to our customers, the new data centre can help deliver faster performance, improved reliability and reduced latency. This will deliver better experiences for customers.
“Australia’s digital economy represents a significant opportunity, and businesses need the right foundation to capture it,” said Bognar. “Our investment in local infrastructure reflects our deep commitment to empowering Australian organisations with the tools they need to accelerate their digital transformation and unlock new possibilities.”
Australian network provider, Fetch TV, will be one of the first of Hubspot’s local customers to store their data in the new data centre.
The Australian data centre is a key component of HubSpot’s global infrastructure expansion, with two additional centres launching in the USA and Canada.
