LogicMonitor has completed its acquisition of Catchpoint, bringing together two established observability providers in a move aimed at improving visibility, performance monitoring and incident prevention across modern digital infrastructure. The company said the combined platform will integrate infrastructure, cloud, network and end-user experience monitoring with new AI-driven capabilities.
LogicMonitor, which positions itself as an AI-first hybrid observability provider, said the acquisition is intended to address long-standing issues faced by IT teams, including tool fragmentation, reactive monitoring processes and downtime caused by limited visibility. The company said adding Catchpoint’s Internet-level performance data will expand the scope of its monitoring capabilities across cloud environments and external networks.
LogicMonitor CEO Christina Kosmowski said the acquisition is intended to shift observability from reactive alerting to predictive detection and prevention, reducing the need for multiple specialised tools. Catchpoint Co-Founder and CEO Mehdi Daoudi said the company’s monitoring of global Internet performance will now reach broader scale as part of LogicMonitor’s platform.
According to both companies, Catchpoint’s synthetic, network and real-user monitoring data will be incorporated into LogicMonitor’s Edwin AI engine, allowing the system to provide root-cause explanations and automated incident response over time. The companies said the integration will provide customers with consolidated insight across infrastructure and user experience, improved reliability, fewer monitoring tools and expanded global visibility.
The acquisition has been finalised following regulatory approvals, and integration work between the two teams is now underway. LogicMonitor said its goal is to accelerate predictive, AI-driven observability capabilities for enterprise customers worldwide.
