Cybersecurity and compliance company Proofpoint has appointed Nelson Soon as Vice President of Channels and Alliances for Asia Pacific and Japan.
In his new role, Soon will oversee Proofpoint’s channel and alliance operations across the region for the company. “My role is to help facilitate their contributions within the framework of human-centric offerings that best address the threats shaping the current cybersecurity landscape,” said Soon.
Soon will be based in Proofpoint’s Singapore office and brings a wealth of IT and cybersecurity experience to the company. Before joining Proofpoint, he held various senior channel leadership positions at Imperva, Gigamon, Extreme Networks, Ixia, and Agilent Technologies.
