Bentley Systems has announced Robert Malkin is joining the company as Senior Regional Director of Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) to support the Enterprise ANZ sales team. He succeeds Fergus Dunn, who is now Senior Director, Business Development.

Malkin has more than 25 years’ experience managing emerging and innovative businesses throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Most recently, he served as the Vice President of Mural helping to secure world-renowned accounts during his tenure.

Malkin’s professional expertise includes leadership roles at Autodesk, supporting North American and global market development for new technologies. He relocated to Sydney in 2009 to lead AEC verticals in ANZ, Japan, and Korea, driving enterprise multiyear deals across the region.

“ANZ is at a pivotal moment where it needs to advance the use of digital technologies and sustainable practices,” said Kaushik Chakraborty, Senior Vice President, Regional Executive, Asia Pacific, with Bentley Systems. “Bentley is committed to empowering people to design, build, and operate better and more resilient infrastructure through the adoption of our intelligent digital twin solutions. Robert brings a wealth of knowledge, and with his business acumen and proven leadership, he will help our ANZ users reach new heights.”

Dunn will leverage his deep knowledge of the market as Bentley works to maximise key transportation and utilities sector opportunities in the region. This new role builds on Dunn’s market knowledge, digital twin solutions experience, and Bentley’s commitment to providing pragmatic solutions to our users.
