Commvault has appointed Brian Lanigan as chief partner officer, tasking him with leading the company’s global partner organisation and its worldwide partner strategy.
Lanigan will report to Geoff Haydon, president of customer and field operations. In the role, he is expected to work across Commvault’s partner ecosystem, including hyperscalers, managed service providers, distributors, resellers, systems integrators and technology partners.
Commvault said Lanigan brings more than two decades of experience in partner and channel leadership across cybersecurity and enterprise software. His previous roles include leadership positions at SentinelOne, Lacework, Splunk and HP Software.
“Partners are central to our growth strategy and to helping customers advance resilience readiness in an increasingly complex AI and cyber landscape,” Haydon said.
Lanigan said he was joining “at such a pivotal time for customers and partners” and would focus on working with the company’s global partner ecosystem.
