Achilles has appointed Sebastien Roussotte as chief executive officer, effective immediately, the company said. He succeeds interim CEO Craig Rodgerson, who will return to his role as chairman of the Achilles board.

Rodgerson took on the interim position following the death of former colleague Paul Stanley last year.

Roussotte joins Achilles from ESG data provider GRESB, where he served as CEO. He has previously held senior leadership roles at Style Analytics, Finastra, Sophis and Thomson Reuters, working across Europe, the Americas and the Middle East, according to the company.

In a statement, Roussotte said organisations across industries are facing increased pressure to build “more resilient, transparent and responsible supply chains” amid rising regulatory expectations and disruptions. He pointed to the need for greater visibility into supplier risk.

Achilles said it provides supplier assurance and risk management services and has been operating for more than 35 years.
