Orro, an Australian provider of secure network, cloud and digital infrastructure services, has appointed Anthony Woodward as chief strategy and transformation officer. Orro calls it a strategic hire that underscores the company’s commitment to delivering innovative and integrated solutions. It says it also strengthens the company’s executive leadership team as it scales its presence across the region.

Based in Sydney, Woodward will lead Orro’s company-wide strategy and transformation agenda, aligning its go-to-market activities and unlocking the full value of its end-to-end capabilities across cyber security, networking, cloud, and collaboration services. His role will be crucial in ensuring Orro continues to meet the evolving needs of Australian businesses.

Woodward brings more than 30 years of experience in the Australian technology services industry. He co-founded Internet pioneer ZipWorld (acquired by Pacific Internet, now part of Telstra), led Bulletproof Networks through IPO and later acquisition by AC3, and most recently served as CEO of Logicalis Australia.

He also serves as chairperson of the Pearcey Foundation’s NSW chapter, is a non-executive director at AI infrastructure provider OrionVM, and sits on the board of in1Bank, an APRA-regulated neobank. This extensive background demonstrates his proven track record in driving innovation, growth, and successful business outcomes within the Australian tech landscape.

“Anthony’s appointment comes at a pivotal time in our growth journey,” said Orro CEO Daniel Greengarten. “His experience in building and scaling leading technology organisations, combined with a deep understanding of the Australian market, makes him the ideal person to lead our strategy and transformation agenda. We’re excited to have him on board to help accelerate our evolution as a truly differentiated technology partner and further solidifying our position as a market leader.”
