BlueVoyant has appointed John Hultman as chief revenue officer, tasking him with leading the company’s global revenue organisation including sales and revenue operations.

The company said Hultman will work with BlueVoyant’s leadership team on growth and go-to-market execution as it expands its cybersecurity portfolio.

“John joins BlueVoyant at an important moment for the company. We’ve built a strong foundation, and his experience and perspective will be valuable as we continue to scale the business and deepen our customer relationships,” said John Hernandez, CEO of BlueVoyant. “His focus on execution and customer success aligns closely with where we’re headed, and he’ll help us meet a market that’s demanding exactly what BlueVoyant delivers.”

Hultman has more than 30 years’ experience in technology sales leadership across SaaS, cloud and security. Most recently, he served as chief revenue officer at data security company Druva, and previously led Americas sales at Cohesity. He also spent nearly two decades at Dell EMC in sales leadership roles across the Americas and APJC, according to the company.

“The cybersecurity landscape has reached an inflection point. Enterprises are dealing with growing complexity, fragmented security tooling and the need to move beyond detecting threats to taking action, not just inside their own walls but across their suppliers and everywhere their brand lives online,” said Hultman. “What drew me to BlueVoyant is its differentiated approach to that challenge, combining BlueVoyant AI with the human expertise to defend organisations inside their environment, across their supply chain and beyond the perimeter. The opportunity in front of us is significant, and this team is built to capture it.”

BlueVoyant said the appointment follows its third quarter results and ongoing product expansion. The company recently launched a deployment service aimed at helping enterprises adopt Microsoft’s Integrated Security Operations Center in Microsoft Defender, and said it is advancing its BlueVoyant AI offering, including tools focused on the secure adoption and governance of AI agents.
