Smartsheet has appointed Scott Torrey as its new Chief Revenue Officer, adding a senior executive with extensive experience in global software sales and enterprise growth. Torrey will oversee all revenue-focused functions, including direct and partner sales, sales operations, customer success and services.
The company said the role centres on strengthening its go-to-market operations, expanding enterprise adoption and supporting customers throughout the full lifecycle. Torrey has previously served as Chief Revenue Officer at SAP Concur and as Chief Executive Officer at Payscale. He also sits on the boards of Solvd and the Claremont McKenna College Financial Economics Institute, and has previously held board roles with ClearTrip and SAP Concur Japan.
Smartsheet chief executive Rajeev Singh said the appointment is aimed at supporting the company’s growth initiatives and strengthening engagement with senior decision-makers. Torrey said the Intelligent Work Management sector is expanding rapidly and that his early focus will be on supporting internal teams and improving customer outcomes.
The company said Torrey’s background in scaling software businesses and managing global sales organisations will support its efforts to expand its presence internationally.
