Glean has appointed Francesca Moore as vice president of sales for Australia and New Zealand, tasking her with leading the company’s regional go-to-market strategy, enterprise sales and team growth.
Glean said the hire reflects increased investment in the ANZ market as enterprises shift from AI pilots to wider deployments, and seek clearer business outcomes from their AI programs.
The company pointed to its Work AI Index, which it said found Australian workers spend an average of 6.5 hours a week “making AI usable”, while only 10% reported their organisation is performing significantly better as a result of AI.
“Australia and New Zealand is an important growth market for Glean, and we’re investing for the long term,” said Amar Maletira, COO, Glean. “Francesca brings a strong track record of scaling enterprise technology businesses in ANZ, building high-performing teams, and earning the trust of customers. She will play an important role in growing Glean’s business across the region and helping more organisations deploy AI that is grounded in the context of their business and built to deliver real value.”
Moore joins Glean from Grafana Labs, where she served as regional vice president for APAC. She has also held regional leadership roles at MongoDB and AppDynamics.
“Australia and New Zealand are at an important inflection point with enterprise AI,” said Moore. “Organisations are moving beyond pilots and asking how AI can deliver meaningful value across the business. What stood out to me about Glean is its ability to give AI the enterprise context it needs to be genuinely useful. I’m excited to work with our customers, partners, and team across the region as we scale.”
Glean said it will continue investing in its regional team as it expands across ANZ.
