Orro, one of Australia’s leading end-to-end digital transformation partners, has announced two key executive appointments as it continues to scale its national capability and accelerate innovation. The appointments reflect Orro’s commitment to delivering secure, resilient and differentiated managed services for Australian enterprise and government.

Stuart Long has been appointed as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), bringing over two decades of experience in technology and architecture leadership roles, including most recently as Field CTO for Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) South Pacific. Since joining Orro as a senior member of the company’s Critical Infrastructure business, Stuart has played an important role in shaping technical strategy and customer solutions. As CTO, he will now lead Orro’s technology agenda nationally, ensuring strong alignment between innovation, customer outcomes and market opportunity. Stuart Long assumes the CTO position from Michael van Rooyen, who is leaving Orro after two years.

Matthew Maw has been appointed Group Executive, Delivery Transformation, building on his leadership within Orro’s Critical Infrastructure business. Matt is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience across cloud, infrastructure and operations. Prior to joining Orro, he held senior roles at Nutanix, VMware, Cisco and Tatts Group. In this new role, Matt will lead the continued evolution of Orro’s delivery model, with a focus on operational excellence and scalable transformation.

Daniel Greengarten, CEO of Orro, said the appointments reinforce Orro’s strategy of aligning deep technical leadership with delivery excellence.

“As we grow, it’s critical that we continue to bring innovation to market in a way that’s scalable, secure and deeply customer-focused. Stuart and Matt have already made a significant impact within the business – and I’m excited to see them take on these roles to lead our next phase of growth.

These appointments reflect the strength of leadership we have within Orro. They ensure we continue to deliver on our promise of being a truly differentiated technology partner across networks, cloud, security and critical infrastructure.

“During his time at Orro, Michael van Rooyen has brought leadership and technical knowledge that has helped to shape the business into what it is today. We wish Michael all the best in his next role and thank him for his immeasurable contribution to Orro.” Greengarten said.
