Rapid7 has updated its PACT Partner Program for 2026, adding a new top-tier partner designation and changing how it manages partner- and vendor-sourced sales opportunities.
The company said the changes are intended to simplify engagement between partners and Rapid7 teams, particularly for managed detection and response (MDR) and other recurring security services where margins and attribution can be contentious.
Key changes include the introduction of a Platinum partner tier, above the existing Gold, Silver, Bronze and Registered levels. Rapid7 said the update is aimed at differentiating strategic partners and standardising program expectations.
Rapid7 has also restructured “deal motions” into two primary paths: deal registration for partner-sourced opportunities, and co-sell for Rapid7-sourced opportunities. The company said the intent is to encourage earlier partner involvement and reduce ambiguity over attribution.
Additional changes include revised program economics for partner-sourced deals and a new “Tech Champion Program” focused on enablement and engagement for partner sales engineers, including earlier roadmap visibility and technical collaboration.
Suzanne Swanson, vice president of global channel partnerships at Rapid7, said partners are central to the company’s go-to-market strategy and that the 2026 update is intended to make engagement “simpler and more predictable”.
US-based security services provider Saepio was named as one of Rapid7’s inaugural Platinum partners. Saepio cybersecurity vendor manager Paul Mullen said the designation reflects an eight-year partnership and alignment on strategy and growth.
Rapid7’s update comes as vendors continue to adjust channel programs to reflect shifting demand for managed services and outcome-based security operations, as well as increased competition among service providers in MDR and exposure management.
