WatchGuard Technologies has announced the appointment of Paul Sadler as APAC Marketing Manager.
Based in Sydney, Sadler brings more than 20 years of IT marketing and channel experience to WatchGuard Technologies and will be responsible for working with the company’s regional channel partners to drive mutual business success. At the same time, he will be responsible for increasing brand awareness, generating sales leads, managing partner and alliance marketing and working closely with the company’s regional sales teams.
Throughout his extensive marketing career, Sadler has worked with some of the world’s leading IT brands as well as many distributors, systems integrators, resellers and managed service providers to deliver strategies and tactics that drive new business growth.
Sadler previously launched and ran local marketing agency, PushPull Marketing and worked with vendors who lacked any in-country marketing resource. PushPull eventually merged with local Splunk distributor, DNA Connect Australia and Sadler became Marketing Director for the combined business.
Prior, Sadler was National Marketing Manager at Avnet Technology Solutions where he led the local team and engaged with business partners to generate end customer demand. He also previously held marketing manager positions at both ITX Group and Westcon Group in Australia and worked for Merisel in the UK early on in his career.
David Higgins, ANZ Regional Director, WatchGuard Technologies, said, “We are delighted to have Paul onboard as he brings the channel experience and market understanding that will help drive our business forward in key markets. As companies in all markets grapple with security challenges, Paul’s extensive experience will be highly prized in supporting our channel partners’ efforts to tap into these markets. We also look forward to him launching new marketing programs across the region that will enable us to strategically engage with our customers and partners.”
